Your impact

• Deputizes for the Construction Manager as required to support the oversight and coordination of the construction activities
• Assist Construction Manager in managing the owner’s oversight activities with respect to construction coordination and inspection
• Works collaboratively with the contractor’s construction management team to coordinate the delivery of the works
• Supports design management to confirm suitability for procurement and construction
• Oversees the contractor’s construction activity to determine and report on whether program specifications are followed
• Assist Construction Manager in managing, monitoring, and reporting on the status of the project construction progress and schedule
• Supports the commercial process as part of the contractor’s application for payment and invoicing
• Assist Construction Manager in overseeing the post-construction process to facilitate handover to operation and conducts warranty reviews
• Performs claims review and recommends steps to resolve claims.

Here's what you'll need

• Typically, a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in construction management
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in large international airport projects or equivalent infrastructure programs
• Minimum 5 years of on-site experience working in highly regulated, complex operational environments
• Good technical capability in all project phases, including design, planning, construction, operations, and maintenance preferably large program/projects
• Demonstrable experience in providing reporting to enable effective decision making
• Good stakeholder engagement and communication skills including the ability to facilitate meetings / workshops with groups of stakeholders
• Recognized degree and professional designation in a relevant field considered an asset
