Project Managers own project launch, planning, control, and delivery against timeline and budget metrics for assignments within their area of responsibility.

This position is available in our Mississauga, ON Canada office only.

Responsibilities:

• Drive customer engagements with a focus on managing internal, customer, and 3rd party expectations and deliverables for Zebra Robotics Automation (ZRA) Fulfillment Solution deployments. Includes managing scope as well as customer success.
• Effectively manages ZRA solution-based projects of moderate scope leading the project team to execute against timeline and budget metrics. Creates a clear project Scope statement and builds a supporting plan which effectively factors in resource availability, task durations and dependencies, budgets and costs. Includes simple Risk Management plans
• Checks progress regularly against the plan and makes adjustments to optimize execution. Documents progress against the project plan throughout the project. Formulates status reports and presents to the team and immediate manager. Status reports are expected to be concise summaries, tailored to the audience
• Act independently to address minor issues and risks and works these until resolved. On major issues/risks with resources and/or budget, provides recommendations for mitigation plan for review by management. Adjust the plan per management guidelines as delays or obstacles are experienced
• May lead multiple limited scope/small derivative projects simultaneously
• Demonstrates knowledge of PMI PMBOK and basic Project Management techniques and approaches including familiarity with vocabulary. Able to effectively use project management tools in basic applications including simple scheduling and staffing plans
  
  

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience in managing end to end complex Engineering/ Robotics projects
• Experience with MS Project and demonstrated working knowledge of fundamentals with project management approaches, tools and methodologies. PMP certification preferred or in progress
• Experience in managing customer-facing projects with focus on systems integration or solution deployment; working with systems integrators is highly preferred.
• Experience working directly with customers/operations and suppliers onsite/ field experience is highly preferred.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Intermediate communication and facilitation skills
• Intermediate presentation skills. Demonstrated comfort in presenting to peer level or one level up cross functional audiences
• Intermediate skills in PC based documentation tools including MS Office and MS Project
• Basic skills in PC based development/ticketing tools including Jira and Confluence.
• Intermediate skills in delegation and follow-up
• Demonstrated working knowledge/experience of technical business unit assigned to (Engineering, Supply Chain, etc.)
