Additional Information
- This role is based out of the Lethbridge Paramount branch, but on occasion may be required to travel to neighbouring branches.
As ATB’s Next Personal Banking Advisor, You Will
- Be a Trusted Financial Partner: Offer customized guidance and solutions tailored to the specific financial situations of high-net-worth clients. Proactively interact with these clients to ascertain their financial objectives and risk appetite, and identify situations requiring escalation due to complexity.
- Build Lasting Relationships: Cultivate strong client relationships through consistent communication, follow-ups, and proactive outreach. Expand your client base by attracting new clients, building a strong sales pipeline and deepening existing connections.
- Drive Sales with Expertise: Guide retail personal and business clients toward the right savings, investment, and lending products for their short- and long-term goals. This includes registered and non-registered investments, credit cards, and complex credit/lending products like mortgages and HELOCs.
- Connect and Collaborate: Demonstrate critical thinking to address complex client needs, connecting with internal partners to leverage ATB’s full suite of services.
- Champion Digital Innovation: Be a subject matter expert in ATB’s digital and omnichannel adoption, promoting digital tools and educating clients on their use. Embrace new technologies to enhance efficiency and the client experience.
- Be a Community Ambassador: Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and self-awareness, investing in community involvement and representing ATB in the market.
- Act with Integrity: Ensure data privacy and security, and optimize risk and compliance management by adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Achieve Success: Achieve personal sales targets and goals, building a strong sales pipeline to contribute to the success of the branch, market, and overall business
Who You Are:
You forge meaningful connections with clients, personalize your understanding of their needs, and offer thoughtful guidance to build their financial confidence. You possess strong sales skills and approach complex problems with curiosity and a focus on the client experience.
What You Bring
- 3 - 5 years of experience in identifying and converting a sales pipeline, delivering exceptional client experiences.
- Relevant experience in the retail banking industry or a similar field.
- Completion of CSI Personal Financial Services Advice (PFSA).
- A comprehensive understanding of a diverse range of lending products, including but not limited to: residential mortgages, various types of loans (i.e. personal), credit card offerings and lending solutions. This experience encompasses familiarity with product features, eligibility criteria, and the lifecycle of these financial instruments.
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in finance, business administration, or relevant work experience.
