We are seeking an experienced EV Project Manager for a 12-month contract to support the successful execution of a large-scale infrastructure program related to electric vehicle (EV) charging projects. This role will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing multiple project streams from initiation through close-out, with a strong emphasis on electrical infrastructure.


The ideal candidate will have a solid background in project management—especially in complex construction or electrical projects—and the leadership ability to guide cross-functional teams while ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage infrastructure or construction projects up to $50 million in value
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project and risk management plans
  • Oversee project activities across engineering, procurement, regulatory approvals, construction, and commissioning
  • Coordinate engagement with internal teams, First Nations, contractors, and field crews
  • Maintain thorough project documentation including action logs, status reports, and post-implementation reviews
  • Clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders


Must-Have Qualifications:


  • Minimum of nine (9) years of project management experience
  • Proven experience managing electrical infrastructure or complex construction projects
  • Strong contract negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple project phases concurrently
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)


Nice to Have:


  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • Experience in EV charging infrastructure projects
  • PMP certification
