We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Lead Quality Assurance Developer to join our dynamic Information Technology team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and supporting innovative software solutions that drive business success across our Consumer and SMB go-to-market channels. As a leader in quality assurance, you’ll be encouraged to adopt an engineering mindset, championing the best practices, fostering innovation, and delivering real-world solutions that shape the future of our technology landscape.

As a Lead Quality Assurance Developer-Mac Platform, You Will

• Develop a strong foundational understanding of the Carbonite product suite and its key functionalities.
• Learn the team’s automation tools, testing environments, and current quality assurance processes.
• Gain hands-on experience with the existing test infrastructure, including test codebase and implemented test cases.
• Collaborate actively with peer engineers through design reviews, code walkthroughs, and test case evaluations.
• Build deep expertise in the architecture and structure of current test frameworks.
• Start designing and implementing effective test cases to support continuous integration and automation coverage.
• Contribute to Agile release cycles (SAFe), ensuring product quality and release stability.
• Identify test gaps and support ongoing initiatives to enhance automation strategy and coverage.
• Participate in the development of robust, scalable automated test code across various platforms.
• Bring forward new ideas and propose improvements to strengthen the testing and CI processes.
  
  

What You Need To Succeed

• Programming Language: Strong in Python, C#
• Testing: Manual + automated test experience
• Platforms: Familiar with Apple and Microsoft
• Tools:
• Automation/Dev: Pywinauto, PyCharm, Pytest, Visual Studio
• Version Control: GitLab, GitHub, VMware
• CI/CD: Experience with Jenkins, GitLab, JIRA, ValueEdge, other tracking tools
• Cloud: Azure, AWS, GCP; SaaS delivery familiarity
• Education: Degree, diploma, or equivalent
