General Labour – Bin Delivery Program (Langley)

Emterra Group is currently seeking General Labourers to support the Bin Delivery Program in Langley on a 3-week contract. This role is key in helping the community prepare for automated curbside collection by assisting in the loading and placement of new waste and recycling carts.

Job Description

• Work alongside a driver to load, unload, and deliver carts to residential properties.
• Push and position carts from the truck to the curbside of each home.
• Follow a scheduled route and maintain an efficient delivery pace.
• Report any delivery or site-related issues to the supervisor.
• Interact respectfully with the public when required.
• Ensure safety standards are followed at all times.
• Perform other related duties as required.
  
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Physically fit: able to lift, push, and pull carts and walk for extended periods.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team effort.
• Access to reliable transportation to reach the reporting location.
