Job Description

Summary: Under the supervision of the Manager, Residential Operations, the Assistant Building Representative/Cleaner will maintain the cleanliness, order, maintenance and representation of the designated area. The Assistant Building Representative will be on site at all times in order to respond to emergencies and/or tenant concerns/issues. They also provide relief coverage for Building Representatives when required.

What You’ll Get To Do

  • Clean entrance and exit of building, laundry room (including wipe down washer/dryer) daily
  • Vacuum/wash floors, elevators, hallways, stairs, windows and common rooms, locker/storage, and garbage rooms as required
  • Monitor chutes/compactor of the disposal of garbage and blocks, if applicable
  • Ensure general up keep of building as it must be well-maintained and presentable
  • Sweep basement lobby as required
  • Spot clean walls, partitions and doors to remove finger marks, graffiti and other marks
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained and store accordingly
  • Additional cleaning duties as required on a daily/weekly/monthly basis and/or assigned by Manager
  • Common area maintenance as required
  • Complete tenants work orders in a timely manner

Customer Focus

  • Provide relief coverage for Building Representative
  • Respond to all tenant questions, concerns and complaints in a timely manner
  • Keep detailed records of situations and solutions
  • Refer to the Manager, Residential Operations if unable to solve problems and relay all office communications and updates to tenants
  • Collect and record in log books all incoming rent payments
  • Serve all legal documentation pertaining to non-payment of rent and/or further Landlord-Tenant litigation as directed by Property Manager.
  • Rent all upcoming suites utilizing and adhering to all Greenwin leasing policies.
  • Perform administrative duties as required
  • Maintain accurate records with respect to work orders
  • Focus on customer service and tenant retention
  • Additional duties depending on Building needs and as required by Manager

Who You Are

  • Two years’ experience in cleaning
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Responsible, reliable, and detail-oriented
  • Customer service skills and detail oriented
  • Excellent housekeeping skills
  • Ability to work with cleaning fluids
  • Ability to work and act independently
  • Ability to sit/stand for extended period of time (walk, bend, kneel, etc.)
