You’re good at:
- Leading vendor and material qualification within an eQMS, collaborating cross-functionally to evaluate, approve, and complete post-approval actions.
- Conducting and coordinating vendor audits, managing Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs), and ensuring compliance with cGMP, GFSI, and HACCP standards.
- Monitoring vendor performance, maintaining KPIs, and building reports/dashboards to drive continuous improvement in the vendor management program.
- Coordinating change control processes and aligning specification/inspection protocols with vendors to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Developing and adhering to SOPs, WPs, and safety policies while managing multiple projects with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- A bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Engineering, Biology, or Food Science).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within food, natural health products (NHP), or pharmaceutical industries.
- Experience with vendor audits; Certified Quality Auditor/Supplier Quality Engineer certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in Supplier Management systems (eQMS preferred) and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) for data analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of CFIA, Health Canada, FDA, and TGA regulations, along with cGMP, GFSI, and HACCP standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills, with an investigative mindset and attention to detail.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
