Position Overview
The Digital Content Specialist is responsible for building and modifying the global content experience across canadagoose.com. Serving as the bridge between the business and technical development teams, you’ll work in partnership with Ecommerce and UX to deliver innovative, data-driven solutions that iterate and improve upon the current product. Working alongside the Digital Content Manager, you’ll build customer journeys that elevate brand campaign and commercial needs while also identifying gaps and opportunities to build net-new experiences that deliver value to consumers and the business. As a critical member of the Digital Content Team, this role requires a deep proficiency in CMS publishing, with an eye for accuracy in front-end structure and style.

Position Overview

Working alongside the Digital Content Manager, you’ll build customer journeys that elevate brand campaign and commercial needs while also identifying gaps and opportunities to build net-new experiences that deliver value to consumers and the business. As a critical member of the Digital Content Team, this role requires a deep proficiency in CMS publishing, with an eye for accuracy in front-end structure and style.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the publication of content on CandaGoose.com homepage and landing pages in all languages.
- Test and troubleshoot to resolve content issues, working hand-in-hand with UX, Creative Design and Front-End Development to edit and format final output.
- Generate content for editorial and evergreen touchpoints, informed by business priorities, commercial campaigns and marketing needs. Work with Digital Content team and cross-functional partners to bring ideas to life from brief through execution.
- Oversee all technology development related to the CMS.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements, define product vision, roadmap, and goals.
- Build, maintain and prioritize the product backlog to ensure features and deliverables provide maximum value to content stakeholders and the business.
- Create clear project documentation, write actionable user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria, ensuring stakeholders’ needs are accurately translated into technical solutions.
- Conduct regular meetings to update team members and stakeholders on progress, risks, and deliverables.
- Monitor, analyze and report on content performance and conduct A/B testing to continually evolve and enhance site performance and conversion.
- 3-5 years of experience in a digital content publishing/editing role, ideally within an eCommerce setting for a luxury consumer brand
- Experience in Agile methodologies with interpersonal skills to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- CMS management and publication experience, ideally with Salesforce Commerce Cloud Page Designer
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate creative solutions into technical outputs (and vice versa)
- Highly detail-orientated with an eye for elevated content, copy and creative
- Excellent computer skills and technical proficiency across ecommerce technologies and web development; working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
- Experience with web analytics tools (including Google Analytics, Content Square)
- Strong team player and solution-minded communicator who can weave together both art and science in their approach to problem solving
- Background in the retail & apparel industry with a strong understanding of digital trends and luxury ecommerce best practices
