What You Will Be Doing At Pinchin
- Lead and manage building science projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budgets, and exceeding client expectations.
- Conduct thorough on-site inspections to assess building envelope conditions, identify issues, and formulate appropriate remediation strategies.
- Undertake field review of in-situ construction
- Prepare detailed, clear, and comprehensive technical reports highlighting findings, assessments, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage expertise in building science, engineering, and real estate to deliver holistic solutions to clients.
- Provide senior reviewer support for our asset management services, including property condition assessments, reserve fund studies, and due diligence assessments for real estate transactions.
- Cultivate strong client relationships, understand their needs, and tailor solutions that align with their goals.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in building science and real estate transactions.
- Demonstrate leadership by effectively leading project teams when required, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
- Solve complex building science challenges, proactively leveraging technical knowledge and innovative thinking.
- Assist with new business development and represent Pinchin with professionalism and expertise in client interactions, industry events, and conferences.
- Assist with providing coaching and mentorship of technical staff
- Professional Engineer designation
- Proven experience (5+ years) in building science project management/Engineering, including on-site inspections and reporting services.
- Strong technical writing skills with the ability to create clear, concise, and impactful reports.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- Relevant certifications in building science, project management, or related fields are a plus.
- Proficiency in industry-specific software/tools and thorough knowledge of building science concepts
- Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to lead teams effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Commitment to staying current with industry developments and continuous professional developments.
- A valid driver’s license, insurance and access to your own personal vehicle required (work-related travel will be compensated)
