There is an exciting and unique opportunity for a talented professional to join the Sales Team in Coquitlam as the Pavilion Concierge. Reporting to the Area Sales Manager and working closely with the sales, IPP, and marketing departments, this role combines skills in community relations, brand partnerships, and event planning, with a distinct focus on ensuring guests have an exceptional experience, clearly communicating our story and vision, and driving interest in Marcon’s real estate offerings-all while fostering lasting relationships and strengthening our connection with the local community. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in sales, hospitality, or customer service, with 3+ years of relevant experience. This role requires a proactive, confident communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands the importance of relationship-building to deliver an exceptional experience.

The Role
Duties
As a Pavilion Concierge, you will play a pivotal role as one of the first representatives of Marcon, welcoming visitors to Pavilion and providing a seamless and immersive experience. This position requires a dynamic individual who can effortlessly articulate the Pavilion concept through storytelling, possesses a comprehensive understanding of operational intricacies, and has the ability to build strong relationships with the public and clients. Duties include:
Conceptual Understanding
- Effectively eliminate potential confusion by articulating the Pavilion concept through engaging storytelling.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of operational intricacies, including Food and Beverage Partners, Sales Gallery, Activations, and other Pavilion components.
- Maintain a strong understanding of Marcon’s brand, history and vision
- Proactively engage with visitors, identify their needs, introduce them to the Marcon sales team when appropriate
- Effectively communicate Marcon’s current projects and offerings to engage visitors, drive walk-in traffic to the display homes, and contribute to sales pipeline growth by positioning our homes to potential buyers
- Maintain open and regular communication with managers, sales teams, property managers, and external vendors.
- Foster collaborative relationships critical to Pavilion operations, ensuring a harmonious and efficient environment.
- Collaborate seamlessly with the concierge team, partner managers, staff, and property managers, operating cohesively to ensure the smooth and uninterrupted flow of operations, proactively mitigating any potential challenges/issues.
- Coordinate and assist with scheduling sales-related bookings with our food and beverage partners to ensure a seamless experience for buyers, Realtors, and VIP guests
- Prioritize customer experience by performing "random acts of kindness" to enhance visitors' time at Pavilion (e.g., offering free coffee, personalized assistance).
- Build and nurture relationships with VIP guests and Realtors to ensure they receive personalized service
- Demonstrate a proactive and positive attitude to ensure visitors feel welcomed and attended to.
- Possess a warm and welcoming demeanor, characterized by exceptional interpersonal skills and a consistently positive attitude.
- Demonstrates the ability to engage in meaningful conversations, possessing foundational knowledge of the Tri-Cities area and Marcon projects.
- Ensure the Pavilion maintains a high standard of cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation by identifying and reporting any deficiencies.
- Support the Marcon team during Pavilion and Sales events, ensuring seamless execution and contributing to the overall success of the events.
- Available evenings and weekends and for special events that may occur outside regular hours.
- A natural people person with an ability to connect with people and drive engagement
- Excited by event planning and all the details that go along with it
- An interest in real estate, with a curiosity to learn about new developments and the home buying process
- Polished, professional and proud to represent a quality brand externally; you love when you identify deeply with the organization you represent.
- Exceptionally good at prioritizing, multi-tasking, problem solving, and managing your time
- Highly self-motivated; you enjoy autonomy in your work
- An excellent communicator, with both internal and external stakeholders
- Highly trustworthy and accountable; you take pride in your work and in building your career
- 3+ years of relevant experience in hospitality, sales, or customer service
- A strong ability to read customers, anticipate needs, and provide tailored experiences
- An ability to understand high level objectives and vision
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- An ability to adapt to a dynamic and faced-paced environment
- A belief that exceptional service, elevated experiences and personal connections are what make experiences and places memorable for guests; delivering these is second nature to you
- An ability to provide insight and strategic recommendations from project learnings or past experience where relevant
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, including special events.
