About Your New Role
Reporting to the Supervisor, Mill Operations, the Refiner, will be responsible for gravity gold recovery and refining processes in the mill. Your focus is to recover gold using specialized equipment and process the raw material by refining the products into dore bars.
Your Key Responsibilities

This position has a schedule of 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off at our remote camp which you will be required to fly in fly out with pick up points in Saskatoon, Prince Albert and La Ronge.

About Your New Role
Reporting to the Supervisor, Mill Operations, the Refiner, will be responsible for gravity gold recovery and refining processes in the mill. Your focus is to recover gold using specialized equipment and process the raw material by refining the products into dore bars.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for safe and efficient operation of the gravity Knelson Concentrator.
- Operate the intensive cyanide leach circuit.
- Operate the electrowinning circuit which includes cleaning cathodes and maintaining the electrowinning cell.
- Perform gold pours with the site metallurgist or supervisor which includes mixing reagents and flux for the pour.
- Operate the gravity concentrating table.
- Mix and batch reagents such as sodium cyanide solution and caustic solution.
- Monitor and make circuit adjustments to ensure gravity circuit is operating efficiently.
- Collect samples from the gravity circuit for analysis.
- Working alone and with minimal supervision.
- Supervisor coverage as required.
- Adhere and follow all gold security protocols.
- Complete work order notifications to ensure the equipment is adequately maintained.
- Good communication skills to understand verbal instructions and to relay maintenance concerns.
- A positive and proactive attitude towards safety is essential.
The successful candidate will have:
- Completed Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Experience operating equipment and/or working in a mill would be considered an asset.
