Job Description
The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the facility, making sure it runs smoothly and effectively. This includes managing all aspects of branch operations, including scheduling, customer service, marketing, merchandising, inventory, financial reporting, and safety. You will also manage, develop, and motivate branch employees as well as develop business strategies to meet goals and increase sales.

Responsibilities
- Develop business strategies to increase sales and optimize profitability
- Implement facility market plan based on market conditions, branch mission and financial/budget objectives
- Oversee facility’s blend management and production planning efforts
- Conduct research and analyze financial and market metrics as needed
- Perform credit investigations and analysis on new and existing accounts
- Work with outside vendors to identify and place orders for new product purchases per established policy
- Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service
- Meet facility goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to store employees
- Build and maintain knowledge of all products to ensure effective customer recommendations
- Maintain branch inventory levels and conduct physical inventory reviews on a regular basis
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures including safety, loss prevention, and security
- Maintain outstanding facility condition and visual merchandising standards
- Provide accurate and timely reporting as required
- Manage employee training, development, performance management, and corrective action
- Determine staffing needs, recruit and onboard new staff, and manage facility work schedule
- Create schedules and monitor staffing
- Assist with daily bank deposits
- Assist in providing necessary input for development of annual budget
- Respond to and resolve any customer and/or employee complaints
- Support Sales Reps in developing and targeting new business
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9002 guidelines and requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment
- Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
- Must have at least three (3) years of work experience in manufacturing, distribution, or retail operations
- Must have at least one (1) year of experience in leadership role(s), supervising others, or leading teams
- Have at least four (4) years of work experience in manufacturing, distribution, or retail operations
- Have at least three (3) years of experience in leadership role(s), supervising others, or leading teams
- Have at least one (1) year of experience as a Facility or Branch Operations Manager
- Have a bachelor's degree or higher in Sales, Marketing, Management, Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or Engineering
- Have previous work experience selling paint and paint related products
- Have work experience using timekeeping and/or customer relationship management (“CRM”) systems
- Willingness to relocate for future job opportunities
- 5%
- Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
