Opportunities exist to join the Metro Ethernet Networks Analog Macros development team as a new graduate in the role of an analog/RF designer.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative individual to join our team. The selected candidate will work within the team responsible for designing high speed analog macro block for a mixed mode ASIC development across all Metro Ethernet products. The team works in close collaboration with the system architecture, hardware and software design teams to deliver on-time, robust, leading edge solutions for data and transport networks. The designer will be involved with specification, design, implementation, verification and lab test of high speed analog/RF circuit blocks and mixed mode ASIC’s.

Primary Responsibilities Of The Position

• Work as part of a development team in the design and verification of leading edge analog/RF circuits for Metro Ethernet Networks developments. Work along side and interface with hardware teams, software teams, and project management.
• Contribute to the architecture, specification, design, implementation, verification and lab test analog IC’s/circuit blocks or mixed mode ASIC’s.
• Provide important technical contributions to differentiate the products in the market
  
  

Education/Competencies Required

• Ongoing participation in master’s or Ph.D. degree in Engineering programs
• Courses in MOS and bipolar devices and high-speed analog/RF circuit design
• Experience with Analog Artist, HSPICE, EM simulators and behavioral modeling using high-level languages (e.g. matlab, verilogA, C) would be an asset
• Experience in broadband amplifier, LNA, AGC, data converter, VCO/PLL would be an asset
• Experience with high speed/RF test equipment would be an asset
• Strong Grade point average
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
