(CAN) Senior Specialist, Infrastructure - #440262

Position Summary...A Senior Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for maintaining the design and integrity of the internal Infrastructure platforms. They will provide expert technical assistance to team and consulting services to business area to understand needs. This role will be accountable for designing, technical lead for implementation and testing/troubleshooting complex/core infrastructure ensuring stability of the infrastructure systems.

What You'll Do...

• The Senior infrastructure specialist will be accountable to plan and develop Infrastructure designs to meet company needs, current and future.
• Utilizing data analytics/monitoring/alerting to provide technical direction on future infrastructure design that will meet/exceed the long-term trends based on actual data/statistics
• Liaison with global peers and partners/providers to review, share designs, assist in building product and platform roadmaps. Accountable to follow roadmaps and to technically guide advance and support specialists
• Responsible for selecting product lines and platforms for infrastructure within their expertise, including proof of concepts validation, product testing and validation, product/service certifications to ensure compliance with security standards
• Be a technical leader to educate and train other infrastructure specialists on your team to have the knowledge needed to build, expand, and support the designs
• Level 3 support for complex/core Infrastructure issues, utilizing tools sets to get to root cause of problems.
• Provide consulting services for other teams for strategic projects and initiatives
• Create, update, and maintain design and build documents for team to reference. Assist with building best practices and workarounds knowledgebase for Advanced and support staff.
  
  

Qualifications

Technical certification from vendors such as Nutanix/VMWare/Microsoft

Communication skills both written and oral. Able to convey messages to the right audience, technical and non-technical

Minimum Education Required Technical/Business School

Minimum Years of Experience Required 6 - 8 years
