- Support Test Lab team and other Product Development team members on daily engineering tasks
- Support Engineering testing needs and develop tools for efficient test setup.
- Support the design and test of engineering prototypes.
- Support the root cause analysis of component failures.
- Technical report writing
- Hands-on support of components and testing
- Support the development and deployment of test equipment and fixtures.
- Work in compliance with Johnson Electric Motion Technology Canada Safety, Quality, and Environmental systems
- Work in compliance with Johnson Electric Motion Technology Canada Production System
- Interaction with production operators, technicians, and other key resources to assist with the documentation, standardization, and improvement of processes.
- Working toward an engineering degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- Welcome both candidates from both Undergraduate Co-op Program and Graduate Co-op Program
- Mechanical aptitude
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
- Independent and self-motivated worker.
- Committed to meeting deadline requirements.
- Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Willing and able to multi-task and change priorities based on organizational needs.
- Strong ability to use Microsoft Office Software.
- Able to work at a computer for extended periods of time.
- “Can Do” attitude.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Willingness to be involved in hands-on projects in the plant.
