Sales Summer Internship - #437675

Lasko Products, an industry leader of home environment products for over 100 years, is seeking a Sales Intern for our Caledon, ON office. The position is 40 hours a week and will run from mid- May through mid- August.

Responsibilities

The Sales Intern position will assist the Lasko Sales team in the implementation of all marketing activities, with a specific focus on working within a team of Key Account and Sales Managers as a liaison to head office to obtain customer information needs and reports on shipping, PO status for customers across all business units.

Expected Responsibilities And Related Project Work

• Setting up products for customers online and online product
• Sell-through and forecast document inputs and outputs
• Using customers portals to gather information and input data
• Dealing with our internal QAD systems
• Work within a team of Key Account and Sales Managers as liaison to head office to obtain customer information needs
• Report on shipping, PO status for customers across all business units
  
  

Education/Academic Criteria

• Minimum of a 3.0 GPA
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Degree or major in the focus area of the internship, i.e., Engineering, Operations, Finance, etc.
• A car is required for this position
  
  

Competencies And Abilities

• Current College Student: must be enrolled in an accredited university/college program to receive credit
• Currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field (preferably Business, Marketing, or Communications)
• Experienced with MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Must be 18 years of age
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-directed and able to work without supervision
• Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Ability to work in a team environment while taking ownership of various projects and responsibilities
