Embassy Ingredients is looking for a Quality Control (QC) Technologist to join our team! In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our products meet the highest quality and safety standards. You will be responsible for analytical product testing, leading quality initiatives, and working closely with production operators to maintain excellence at every stage.


Shift Information:

Monday to Friday with weekend and overtime work as required.

Day Shift Hours: 6:30am – 3:15pm

What Your Role Will Be Responsible For:

  • Conducting live analytical testing of samples to ensure a 100% QC completion rate per shift.
  • Maintaining a 99.95% accuracy rate for product testing.
  • Managing quality control processes, including inventory holds, investigations, and reblends.
  • Supporting lean initiatives and ensuring production operators follow quality & food safety procedures.
  • Leading quality-related investigations and reporting findings within 48 hours.
  • Preparing and maintaining dry production labels and overseeing technical documentation.
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety programs such as BRCGS, HACCP, GMPs, and customer requirements.
  • Taking immediate action to prevent major food safety risks and maintaining high operational efficiency.


What You Need to Bring to Embassy:

  • College diploma or university degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or Microbiology.
  • 0-3 years of experience in Quality Control within the food industry.
  • Strong skills in problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Excellent computer, reporting, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to dynamic schedules.
  • Excellent communication and a team-player mindset.
  • A commitment to maintaining the authenticity, legality, and quality of our products.
  • Positive and professional attitude.
  • Ability to work on a flexible work schedule when required.

  • Exposure to hazardous lab materials, loud noise, and dust.
  • Essential physical requirements, including climbing, standing, stooping, and typing.
  • An on-site position requiring adaptability and hands-on involvement.
