Duties and Responsibilities:
- Field incoming inquiries and follow up on warm leads (in-person, via phone, email, and other online sources) for potential used equipment sales and distribute leads to the appropriate Outside Salesperson for further follow-up.
- Provide support to the Sales Manager and Outside Sales Representatives including preparation of quotes, purchase orders, invoices, etc.
- Coordinate with the service team to prepare units for sale, ensuring compliance with customers' conditions and requests.
- Conduct post-sale follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction with their equipment purchases. Effectively escalate any issues to the appropriate Outside Sales Representative for follow-up.
- Enter customer information and notes in the CRM system.
- Ensure branch inventory remains accurate.
- Maintain a clean & organized showroom.
- Detail equipment cabs.
- Participate in sales & promotional events (ie. trade shows, open houses, customer appreciation, etc.).
- Occasionally attend in-person client meetings with the Outside Sales Team.
- Support marketing initiatives by taking and uploading equipment photos for our website, newsletter, advertising and/or in response to customer inquiries.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or sales function.
- Knowledge of construction equipment is a definite asset.
- Bilingual (French and English) is an asset.
- Valid Class G driver’s license and satisfactory driver's abstract.
- Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; post-secondary diploma would be an asset but is not required.
- Passion for sales and customer service, and a desire to learn and develop as a sales professional.
- Very detail oriented with excellent organization and time-management skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; both in-person and over the phone.
- Very comfortable with computers - knowledge of CRM systems & Microsoft Office is a definite asset.
- Solid team player and self-starter.
