Additional Information
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Halifax, NS is CAD $110k – CAD $120k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain web applications
- Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
- Debugging and resolving issues in code
- Writing technical documentation
- Mentoring and guiding junior developers
- 7+ years of experience in front-end development
- Comprehensive HTML understanding with ability rapidly code cross-browser HTML/CSS
- Cross-browser HTML5, CSS, SVG
- Advanced Flex box and grid layouts
- CSS animations, transitions, base64 images,
- Ability to use Adobe products to determine colors, fonts, effects, filters, et. To convert to CSS
- Conversion of Code into SCSS or styled components
- Must be able to code within React
- Material UI Library is a huge plus
- Redux and some NodeJS are a plus
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript
- Knowledge of front-end development tools
- Familiarity with back-end technologies
- Ability to write efficient and reusable code
- Knowledge of database systems
- Ability to write technical documentation
- Experience in building web applications using JavaScript frameworks
- Experience working in a cross-functional team
- Experience mentoring and guiding junior developers
