The Inventory Deployment Analyst oversees inventory transfers between factories and warehouses, ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient product movement. This role serves as the key liaison between Transportation, Warehousing, and Production Planning to optimize supply chain operations.
Job Purpose & Scope
As a member of the ROCKWOOL Transportation Team, you will oversee inventory deployment between factories and warehouses, ensuring seamless product transfers. Serving as the central link between Transportation, Warehousing, and Production Planning, you will support key performance metrics, including inventory levels, on-time transfers, and data accuracy. This individual contributor role is based at our Head Office in Milton, ON, and reports to the Transportation Manager, Supply Chain.

Your future team :
You will become part of the ROCKWOOL North America Transportation team and will be reporting to the Transportation Manager.
What you will be doing :
- Coordinate product transfers based on sales and production needs.
- Provide transfer forecasts and track delayed shipments.
- Monitor inventory levels and request replenishments.
- Manage inter-company material movements and maintain purchase records.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external warehouses.
- Track KPIs, identify issues, and drive solutions.
- Bachelor’s in business, Commerce, or Engineering (Master’s in Logistics/Supply Chain is a plus).
- 5+ years in logistics or supply chain roles.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Experience with Transporeon, PMP, Six Sigma, or customs processes is an asset.
