We focus on security applications that combat fraud proactively and make it easier for owners to track down problems. Today we focus on loss prevention and in the future, we see every department using video to make data-driven decisions: marketing, operations, and even HR.

A job at Solink means working with an amazing team and tackling one of the biggest data problems out there. We are venture-backed and focus on continuous execution to delight our customers. We have a creative and collaborative work environment, and all of our employees have meaningful equity in the company.

  • You have 8 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, and/or automation engineering, and/or a similar position, spanning at least two IT disciplines, including technical architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management, or operations.
  • You have solid knowledge and experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure.
  • You have an understanding of common traps and pitfalls that can occur in a globally distributed infrastructure.
  • You have knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes & Linux Systems.
  • You have a deep understanding of automation and controls.
  • You have technical curiosity and a desire for continuous learning.
  • You work well in a team environment and independently.
  • You must possess strong resilience and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively navigate high-pressure situations, particularly during system downtimes or critical incidents.
  • You have exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
  • You have strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have…

  • You have experience with event-driven data architectures at scale (PBs+).

  • Be a Canadian Citizen (dual citizens included), or eligible to work in Canada;
  • Be willing to comply with Solink’s own security policies and standards.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • You will manage and optimize existing deployment tooling and infrastructure, including but not limited to creating and maintaining new CI/CD pipelines and optimizing infrastructure for cost, performance, or security.
  • You will be a highly contributing member to the expansion of Solink’s system across the globe, in a multi-regional configuration.
  • You will work closely with internal dev teams to design and maintain a reliable, scalable, and secure platform.
  • Work closely with our security compliance team on maintaining and improving our security posture.
  • You will lead initiatives for continuous improvement in security processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • You will provide DevOps domain expertise for existing projects and new initiatives.
