About the Role

The Patient Services Supervisor, Specialty Nursing Services reporting into the Regional Operations Manager and working closely with the Business Performance Manager is responsible for meeting divisional key performance indicators and the ensuring efficient operations of the Patient Service Coordinator team. The Patient Services Supervisor, Specialty Nursing Services is also responsible for providing scheduling support for key clinics in their region, supporting the onboarding new scheduling staff, working on projects/process enhancements related to efficiency improvements with their manager and team and being able to carry out all the day-to-day activities that a patient service coordinator manages.

This position is operated on a hybrid basis, you will be reporting into the closest infusion clinic.

A Day in the Life

  • Supervise daily activities of the Patient Services Coordinator team;
  • Work in collaboration with the Business Performance Manager to ensure key performance indicators are met and that operational efficiencies are implemented;
  • Responsible for team providing high quality of customer service to the division’s patients;
  • Provide guidance and support for all Patient Service Coordinators through regular team meetings and 1:1 meetings as needed;
  • Work in collaboration with the Regional Operations Manager when addressing gaps in performance;
  • Implement and manage scheduling improvement processes;
  • Monitor quality of Procura and CRM data entry as well as call and e-mail quality of team;
  • Train staff to ensure their ability to deliver high quality services;
  • Work in collaboration with the Patient Support Services Operations, Program Management and Pharmacy teams to ensure a seamless patient experience;
  • Reside within the region they oversee;
  • Complete all other duties as requested.

Job Qualification

What You Bring to the Team

  • University / college education or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with Patient Management Software
  • Experience with team leadership
  • Experience in a Health Care environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to manage relationships with exceptional customer service;
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to handle difficult situations;
  • Able to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team;
  • Able to perform and prioritize multiple functions and tasks;
  • Able to read and interpret technical instructions related to patient care;
  • Strong IT knowledge and aptitude;
  • Must reside in the same region responsible for leading.
