As a Senior Financial Accountant, you manage critical financial information to support our growing business and maintain our high standards for client service.
Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $74,400-93,000 with a 35-hour work week. Your rate of pay will be determined based on your individual qualifications and experience, while considering internal equity.

- CPA designation or near completion preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
- Strong experience in bank reconciliations, cash accounting, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., Business Central, QuickBooks, etc) and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience leading or mentoring a small team is an asset.
- Knowledge of foreign currency transactions and FX accounting is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Customer service disposition with a desire to learn and grow.
- Be a contributing member of our inclusive culture, alongside a vibrant national team of people with a wide variety of backgrounds
- Oversee the end-to-end bank reconciliation process for all corporate and trust accounts.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of accountants responsible for daily, weekly, and month-end bank reconciliations.
- Review reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
- Investigate and resolve reconciling items and unusual transactions in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Accounting Operations, Treasury) to ensure streamlined reconciliation processes and alignment across functions.
- Prepare journal entries related to cash, bank charges, FX, and reconciling items.
- Contribute to month-end and year-end close activities related to cash and bank accounts.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the reconciliation workflow.
- Support internal and external audit requests related to cash and bank processes.
- Assist in developing documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures.
- Performing other balance sheet reconciliation and ad-hoc projects in various capacity as needed
