Job Summary:

The Vault Custodian is responsible for receiving and issuing all plastics. Coordinates with all departments and clients for plastics requirements. Ensure card inventory is always balanced.

Responsibilities:

  • Issue plastics for production and remakes
    • Check system for available plastics – pull cards
    • Count cards required for jobs as per job sheets
    • Update system for cards issued for production
    • Update inventory sheet for card box
  • Receive cards into the vault from manufacturing
    • Log cards into the vault
    • Ensure count is accurate vs docket
    • Update the system, batch ticket and control sheet
    • Re-pack, label and seal card boxes and file boxes
  • Receive products for external sources- cards, holograms and signature panels etc.
    • Log in to vault
    • Audit product - Verify counts
    • Label, seal and stock product as required
    • Advise appropriate parties that the product has been received
    • Update System as required
  • Process customer requests for cards
    • Check system for available plastics – pull cards
    • Count cards required for job as per email
    • Update system for cards requested
    • Update inventory sheet for card box
    • Inform appropriate parties that request is completed
    • Complete shipping/mailing instructions as per customer request
  • Responsible for scrap
    • Match plastic to SAP report
    • Count and balance
    • Initial and shred
  • Issue and receive returns from Chip room
  • Respond to queries from customer service
  • Quality check all requests before distribution
    • Conduct monthly inventories of all card stock
    • Audit cards as required
    • Respond to customer requests for audits
    • Advise Customer service regarding low quantities, low usage
    • Make recommendations for destruction
  • Responsible for the organization, cleanliness for their work area
  • Maintain and adhere to all workplace safety procedures
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications, Experience and Educational Requirements:

  • Excellent computer skills
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Good math skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Good attention to detail


Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift upto 20 lbs
  • Lifting above head
  • Climb ladders
  • Push racks
  • Use a hand pump
