We are a multi-award-winning organisation, and following our recent acquisition announcement, we’re preparing to grow into a global 2,500+ strong team across 12 studios.

Our expanded portfolio is set to include some of the biggest titles in mobile gaming, collectively reaching top chart positions around the world and engaging over 25 million daily active users.

Tripledot’s guiding principle remains the same: when people love what they do, what they do will be loved by others.

We’re building a company we’re proud of – one filled with driven, incredibly smart & detail orientated people, who LOVE making games.

Our ambition is to become the most successful games company in the world, and we’re just getting started.

Puzzleplay

Puzzleplay is Tripledot’s new player rewards platform, designed to make playing our games even more fun and engaging. By playing our casual, free to play mobile games, users can earn points, complete challenges, and win real prizes. It’s our way of giving back to players and rewarding them for doing what they already love. Puzzleplay is a key part of our growth strategy, combining smart engagement mechanics with high-quality game content.

Role Overview

This role offers a unique opportunity to build a loyalty program from the ground up, influencing how millions of users interact with and discover Tripledot’s portfolio of games.

You will have the creative freedom and responsibility to establish design standards, including visual elements like icons and mascots.

The ideal candidate is a confident, user-focused designer with strong experience in mobile application design. You are comfortable pushing back when necessary to protect the user’s interests, and are eager to take ownership of a product’s design direction in a rapidly evolving space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to define and refine functional features and user experience flows for the Puzzleplay platform.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to inform design decisions and ensure Puzzleplay remains innovative and user-friendly within the rewards app market.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive design framework, including typography, color schemes, icons, and reusable UI components to streamline engineering implementation.
  • Advocate for the user by providing constructive feedback and pushing back on product features that may negatively impact user experience.
  • Create high-quality design assets such as icons, mascots, and interface elements using tools like Figma and Photoshop.
  • Support the delivery of the product roadmap, contributing to feature prioritization and iterative design improvements during soft launch and scaling phases.
  • Work asynchronously with a distributed team across multiple locations, ensuring clear communication and alignment on design goals.
  • Assist in user research efforts alongside the product manager to gather feedback and validate design choices as the user base grows.
  • Mentor and potentially lead future design hires as the Puzzleplay platform expands and design needs increase.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience designing Android mobile applications; iOS experience is a plus but not required
  • Strong expertise in user experience (UX) design, including creating intuitive user flows and conducting competitive research
  • Proficient in design tools such as Figma; experience with Photoshop or similar tools for creating icons and visual assets is desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain design systems, including typography, color schemes, and reusable UI components
  • Experience collaborating closely with product managers and engineering teams to translate product requirements into functional, user-friendly designs
  • Ability to advocate effectively for the user, providing constructive feedback and pushing back on product decisions when necessary
  • Familiarity with first-time user experience (FTUE) design and flow optimization
  • Strong communication skills to clearly present design concepts and rationale to cross-functional teams
  • Portfolio showcasing relevant mobile app design work, preferably including examples of flow design and visual assets
  • Comfortable working asynchronously across different time zones and locations
  • Experience or interest in loyalty or rewarded applications is a plus but not mandatory
