Your role within the team

As a member of the Toronto office's Contract Administration team, you will:

• Be responsible for contract administration of civil and highway construction projects.
• Supervise and direct field staff working on the project.
• Regularly liaise with clients on progress of construction.
• Monitor contractor work for compliance with contract specifications and applicable safety and environmental legislation.
• Use of the Ministry of Transportation Contract Management System (CMS) on MTO assignments
• Mentor junior team members on the various facets of site inspection.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds a College Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent
• Is registered and in good standing with PEO or OACETT as a C.E.T., C. Tech with RCSI or RCCA designation or EIT, P.Eng.
• Has a minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience.
• Has successfully completed MTO T131 Advanced Claims and Dispute Resolution Training Course and/or applicable refresher.
• Is proficient in English (spoken and written).
• Has a valid Ontario driver’s license class G with a good driving record, and access to a vehicle.
