The Cloud Platforms Operations & Engineering (CPOE) team’s mandate is to build and operate a flexible, scalable, secure and cost-effective infrastructure that supports Co-Operators’ current and future business needs. As Senior Manager of CPOE, the role is responsible for development, implementation and evolution of the CPOE mission.

The Cloud Platforms Operations & Engineering (CPOE) team’s mandate is to build and operate a flexible, scalable, secure and cost-effective infrastructure that supports Co-Operators’ current and future business needs. As Senior Manager of CPOE, the role is responsible for development, implementation and evolution of the CPOE mission.
How You Will Create Impact
- Manage a team of infrastructure professionals of various seniority
- Work collaboratively with your peers in CPOE.
- Support the production of common CPOE metrics and abide by common practices
- Be accountable for the success of some shared projects as well as projects related to your ITSD partner
- Support the workload management activities of CPOE by actively participating in triage of incoming workload
- Support ITSM processes especially for your ITSD partner – change / incident / problem / release
- Actively manage the work assigned to partners on behalf of your team or your work queue
- Supporting our ITSD partners / Transversal teams acting as the SPOC for CPOE
- You have an innovative mindset to improve operational efficiencies and ability to influence change, with a primary focus on client needs.
- You use critical thinking skills to recognize assumptions, evaluate arguments, draw conclusions and proactively propose solutions.
- You have strong communication skills to clearly convey messages and explore diverse points of view.
- You build trusting relationships and provide guidance to support the development of colleagues.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of industry trends and directions that can help the team and organization make good tactical and long-range decisions and choices
