Mistplay is seeking a strategic and creative Senior Brand Marketing Manager to lead brand-building initiatives that drive awareness, engagement, and loyalty for our fast-growing rewarded gaming platform. This individual will serve as the voice of the consumer and the steward of the brand, translating insight into compelling marketing strategies that connect emotionally with our audiences and differentiate Mistplay in the marketplace.
You will work cross-functionally with teams across performance marketing, product, and creative to bring our brand to life at every touchpoint. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is passionate about blending strategy, creativity, and consumer psychology to build a category-defining mobile gaming brand.
What You’ll Do
Lead end-to-end brand strategy and campaign development. Design and execute comprehensive brand initiatives that increase awareness, drive consideration, and deepen emotional connection with target audiences—ensuring alignment with brand values and consistency across all marketing and product channels.
Translate consumer insight into impactful marketing. Leverage qualitative and quantitative research, behavioural analytics, and cultural trends to shape compelling brand messaging, creative storytelling, and strategic decisions across channels.
Manage integrated marketing campaigns from concept to execution. Own the development and execution of cross-channel campaigns, partnering with internal teams and external agencies to manage timelines, creative development, media planning, and performance tracking. Channels may include paid influencer, App Store/Play Store optimization, owned digital channels (like the website and email), and more.
Own and evolve Mistplay’s brand positioning and architecture. Refine and optimize how our brand shows up in the world, ensuring it remains culturally relevant, clearly differentiated, and deeply rooted in the needs and desires of our consumers.
Build alignment across key internal stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional partners in growth, product, and creative to ensure brand principles and strategy are integrated throughout the entire user journey—from acquisition to retention.
Support and guide brand research initiatives. Work with internal stakeholders and research partners to uncover actionable insights, test brand messaging and creative hypotheses, and measure brand health over time.
Bring the brand to life through content and storytelling. Contribute to the development of branded content across paid, owned, and earned channels—including social media, advertising, product communications, and community initiatives.
What You Bring
5–8+ years of brand or consumer marketing experience. Proven track record working at high-impact consumer brands, especially other mobile apps.
Deep expertise in brand strategy and positioning. Strong foundation in developing brand narratives, frameworks, and identities, with a clear understanding of how to build brands that resonate emotionally and culturally.
Experience managing integrated campaigns across channels. From briefing and creative development to launch and optimization, you’ve successfully led campaigns across paid media, digital platforms, influencer partnerships, and more.
Insight-driven creative thinking. You know how to translate consumer behavior and data-driven insights into high-impact messaging.
Strategic rigor and attention to detail. You’re comfortable zooming out to think big-picture, while also managing tactical execution and ensuring brand consistency at every level.
Collaborative mindset and cross-functional experience. Adept at working across teams including creative, performance marketing, product, research, and analytics to bring cohesive initiatives to life.
Strong communication and influence skills. Able to articulate your thinking clearly and persuasively, build alignment across teams, and advocate for the brand at every level of the organization.
A passion for brand-building and category creation. You’re motivated by the opportunity to shape a brand from the ground up and leave a lasting mark on a fast-evolving industry.
Nice to Have
Experience working on CTV, linear TV, paid influencer, or OOH campaigns.
Familiarity with brand measurement platforms (e.g., brand lift studies, YouGov, Nielsen, etc.).
A blend of big-brand and startup experience—comfortable building structure in different environments and scaling with speed.
