On behalf of our Transportation client, Procom is searching for a Senior Project Manager - Security for a one-year role. This position is onsite at our client’s South Calgary office.


Senior Project Manager - Security - Job Description:

The Senior Project Manager - Security will lead critical enterprise security projects, focusing on cyber security, OT security, and TSA. The role involves overseeing project initiation, delivery, controls, and team leadership to ensure successful project outcomes.


Senior Project Manager - Security - Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with technical and business leaders to define project investment opportunities
• Identify and negotiate project resource requirements
• Plan and execute Agile or Waterfall projects
• Develop project estimates using Agile software development estimation techniques
• Manage stakeholders and ensure alignment with project benefits
• Facilitate coordination between project delivery and testing activities
• Plan project implementations and lead Go-live activities
• Adhere to IS PMO processes and maintain project financials
• Provide strong project leadership and conduct lessons learned sessions
  
  
  

Senior Project Manager - Security - Mandatory Skills:

• Significant experience leading large, multi-stakeholder information systems projects
• 3-5 years of experience in delivering enterprise security-related projects
• Post-secondary education in Commerce/Business, Engineering, Technology, or Computer Science
• Expertise in project management planning tools (MS Project preferred)
• Experience managing Software and Technology Development projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

• Experience with regulatory compliance projects
• Strong vendor management skills
• Experience in contract negotiations
