What You’ll Do
As the HR Services Advisor, you’ll wear multiple hats—acting as a strategic partner, a trusted investigator, and an administrative pro. You’ll be responsible for:
HR Operations & Systems
- Manage HRIS processes (primarily ADP, Workday) related to the full employee lifecycle (salary changes, bonus payouts, job changes, reporting).
- Generate accurate, timely HR metrics and reports to support business decisions.
- Lead or support workplace investigations, ensuring professionalism and confidentiality.
- Provide expert guidance on progressive discipline, terminations, and severance, in alignment with ESA and common law.
- Advise managers on employment law, policy interpretation, and best practices.
- Coach leaders on performance management, workforce planning, and employee engagement strategies.
- Collaborate with peers in recruitment, payroll, and operations to ensure consistent, high-quality HR service delivery.
- Support the implementation of company-wide HR initiatives, policies, and projects.
- A minimum of 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in healthcare or retail
- At least 2 years of direct employee relations experience, including investigations and terminations
- A CPHR, CHRP, or equivalent HR designation
- Confidence with HRIS platforms like ADP, Workday and solid Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel)
- Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills
- The ability to balance multiple demands in a fast-paced environment, without losing sight of detail
