Title: Senior C++ Developer

Type: 6-Month Contract + Opportunity to Extend


Location: 1 Queen Street East, Toronto


Work Model: Mon-Thurs Onsite (4 days/week), 37.5 hours/week


Must-haves:



  • University degree in Engineering or Computer Science.

  • Solid understanding of capital markets (trading, derivatives, trade lifecycle) with a strong drive to build and improve supporting systems.

  • Good working experience in C++.

  • Hands-on experience with SQL in a production environment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Strong knowledge of software development best practices and patterns.

  • Commitment to CPP investments’ guiding principles of integrity, partnership, and high performance.

  • Experience in DevOps and CI/CD.


 Nice to have:



  • Hands-on experience in Python, RestAPI, AWS Cloud and Kubernetes; familiarity with other languages such as Java is a plus.

  • Experience in Terraform.

  • Knowledge of Bloomberg and/or Murex trading platforms.

  • Knowledge of FIX protocol.
