The Position

The Nuclear Project Technologist plays a vital role in coordinating technical activities to support nuclear projects. This role is key in ensuring that design, manufacturing, and delivery processes align with project objectives, quality standards, and customer expectations. With a focus on collaboration and problem-solving, the Project Technologist ensures smooth communication and efficient resolution of challenges across multidisciplinary teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting design and manufacturing leads in preparing technical deliverables aligned with customer specifications, codes, and standards
  • Reviewing and assisting with the preparation of technical documentation for customer submissions
  • Resolving technical open issues, non-conformances, and corrective actions while liaising with customer engineering representatives
  • Monitoring project schedules and budgets for engineering/design scopes, addressing resourcing and performance concerns.
  • Contributing to the development of technical procedures and compliance initiatives to enhance project outcomes
  • Promoting adherence to quality, safety, and reliability standards, ensuring all deliverables meet company and customer expectations.

What We’re Looking For

  • An educational background in Engineering or a related discipline
  • Experience in project coordination or technical roles within a regulated environment
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with nuclear codes, standards, and compliance requirements is an asset
