Production Manager – Antec Controls

Antec Controls is experiencing rapid growth, and to support this momentum, we’re excited to introduce the newly created role of Production Manager. We’re seeking a technically inclined, energetic, and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities with efficiency and accuracy.

The Successful Candidate's Responsibilities Will Include

• Set clear, consistent expectations for production teams and maintain open communication to ensure alignment and accountability.
• Organize, manage, and evaluate the effective use of all production resources
• Coach, mentor, and lead production staff, fostering a culture focused on continuous improvement.
• Identify and implement process improvements related to workflows, layouts, jigs, and equipment.
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
• Proactively identify and manage production challenges, capacity issues, and process inefficiencies.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all production-related communication, with both internal and external counterparts and customers.
• Develop, monitor, and report on key production metrics, using data to inform decisions and actions.
• Lead safety initiatives, conduct regular safety audits, and ensure adherence to company safety policies and training protocols.
  
  

The Ideal Candidate For This Position Will Have

• Post-secondary education in manufacturing, engineering, business, or a related field would be an asset
• 3–5 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to drive and manage change
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Critical thinker with high accountability and sound decision-making skills
• Process-driven and self-motivated with a proactive, hands-on approach
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to quality and service excellence
