Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment
• Architect and guide the development of end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scale
• Design and implement user interfaces to create a great user experience
  
  
  

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in UI development using modern frameworks such as Angular
• Proficiency in TypeScript, CSS, JavaScript, and Micro Frontend Development
• Strong understanding of scaling and performance optimization for web frontends and their interactions with API layers
• Familiarity with BDD/TDD concepts and practices
• Experience scaling and performing optimisation of web front-end and interaction with API layers
• Experience implementing cloud-based solutions using AWS
• Familiarity with Cloud Database Services
• Familiarity with modern SDLC tools, including Git, Bamboo, Jira, or similar
  
  
  

Nice to have

• Good base of derivatives knowledge, pricing, risk management of structured products, options and more exotic derivatives
• Knowledge of SQL and Python for data analysis, transformation, and reporting
• Unit Testing, Mocking, Performance Testing (e.g. Junit, Mokito, Blazemeter)
• Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs with Python

This posting includes a base salary range EPAM Canada would reasonably expect to pay the selected candidate. Individual compensation offers within the range are based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, training, the demand for the role, skillset, and overall business and local labour market considerations. Most candidates are hired at a salary within the range disclosed. Salary range: CA$125,000 - CA$160,000.
