We are currently seeking a detail oriented Architectural Technologist to support our growing Design Department. Based at our Head Office in Springfield, Manitoba, this role plays a key part in transforming creative concepts into accurate, buildable designs supporting projects from early development through to construction documentation.

What You Will Do

Technical Drafting & Documentation Develop detailed, high-quality construction documents from conceptual and schematic designs using Revit, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with standards.

Project Coordination Work with Senior Technologists and Project Leads to integrate documents across disciplines and align with design and construction goals.

Building Code & Standards Compliance Apply building codes, zoning regulations, and standards to ensure documentation is compliant and construction ready.

Revit & BIM Support Use Revit for 3D modeling and drawing production. Support BIM workflows and model coordination in line with Ironclad standards.

Design Development Support Assist in schematic design, design development, and construction documents while ensuring technical precision.

Quality Control Ensure drawings meet office standards. Review for consistency, clarity, and compliance with quality protocols.

Construction Support Interpret and adjust drawings based on site feedback. Coordinate with other disciplines to resolve issues and support construction execution.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology or a related field, with 3–5 years of experience in architectural environments, preferably in multi-family, residential, or commercial projects.
  • High proficiency in Revit, including 3D modeling and documentation workflows; familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant design software.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian Building Codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards, with the ability to apply them accurately in construction documentation.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary drawings, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well-organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently. Strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach to technical challenges.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Certification through CTTAM and/or ABTAM
