Matchbox is working with a respected general contractor that has been delivering commercial and residential projects across the Lower Mainland for over three decades. They are looking for a Commercial Project Manager to join their team and lead a variety of projects while supporting a strong, collaborative culture. What You’ll Be Doing


  • Managing commercial projects from preconstruction through to closeout
  • Leading budgeting, scheduling, and planning efforts early in the project
  • Coordinating RFIs, change orders, tenders, and subcontracts
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, trades, and internal staff
  • Collaborating with the Site Manager to ensure quality, safety, and schedule alignment
  • Using Buildertrend to manage budgets, proposals, timesheets, and documentation
  • Reviewing trade scopes, leveling bids, and awarding contracts
  • Running project meetings and leading post-construction reviews
  • Mentoring junior team members and coordinating with project coordinators


What We’re Looking For


  • Minimum three years of experience managing commercial or tenant improvement projects
  • Strong understanding of construction contract models
  • Post-secondary education in a construction-related field
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and Bluebeam
  • Experience using Buildertrend or Procore is an asset
  • Ability to read and coordinate across architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • A collaborative, proactive mindset with a focus on quality and accountability
