Your Role And Responsibilities

IBM is seeking a Delivery Consultant to work within the IBM Technology Expert Labs Data and AI team, with focus on IBM’s Business Automation solutions. The Delivery Consultant will work directly with clients in order to customize, extend, deploy and leverage IBM Business Process Automation solutions in client’s environments, including workflow automation , decisions automation and content services.

As a Delivery Consultant, you will work closely with IBM clients and partners to design, deliver, and optimize IBM Technology solutions that align with clients' goals. In this role, you will apply your technical experience and apply it to world-class delivery while leveraging your consultative skills such as problem-solving, hypothesis-based methodologies, communication, and service orientation skills. As a member of IBM Technology Expert Labs you will be part of a team that is client focused, courageous, pragmatic, technical and innovative, and you'll collaborate with clients to optimize and trailblaze new solutions that address real business challenges.

The Delivery Consultant will be focused on IBM’s Cloud Pak for Business Automation portfolio with emphasis on design, implementation and optimization of workflows and integration with content management and client systems. Key software from the CP4BA portfolio includes IBM Business Automation Workflow, IBM Business Automation Manager Open Editions (BAMOE), IBM Operational Decisions Manager and IBM FileNet.

Responsibilities – You Will

• Design, optimize and develop business processes and workflows and decision rules automation using IBM business process automation software in CP4BA (such as such as BAW, ODM, ADS, BAMOE, Case Manager and FileNet) to fulfil customer’s business automation and integration requirements
• Expand the value of business processes by integration with client systems, technologies such as Watson Orchestrate technology, AI Agents and other wokflows.
• Installation and configuration of upgrades/migrations of IBM CP4BA and included components. Troubleshoot and resolve design and configuration issues in the customer’s environment.
• Conduct health checks and recommend improvements in architecture or configuration based on IBM best practices as it relates to migrations and applications modernization.
• Conduct enablement sessions on IBM software and solutions built on them. Conduct and participate in technical solution workshops.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Hands-on application development and programming experience, working with scripting, programming languages such as Java and containers.
• Business processes design, modeling and programming, along with ability to design and implement customized developments and integrations
• Technical support or consulting client-facing experience, preferably with an organization serving mission-critical operations.
• Passionate about new technologies and eager to learn.

• Experience with Business Automation and Content Management technologies
• Good familiarity with application, network, and data security topics such as authentication, authorization, identity providers, user registries, encryption.
• Familiarity with popular public cloud architectures, capabilities and key components (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure), including hybrid architectures and Kubernetes, particularly RedHat OpenShift.
• Understanding of the concepts of high availability, backup and restore, and disaster recovery regarding applications in cloud environments
