An established and fast-growing real estate development firm is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of multi-family residential construction projects. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with project management and construction leadership in a lean, fast-paced team environment where you’ll play a key role in project execution from planning through to close-out.


Key Responsibilities


  • Assist in the development of project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
  • Maintain and organize documentation including contracts, permits, change orders, and schedules
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including contractors, consultants, and suppliers
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and report back on schedule, quality, and safety performance
  • Support procurement processes and track deliveries, invoices, and materials
  • Assist with budget tracking and help manage cost control documentation
  • Identify potential issues and work with the team to implement proactive solutions
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and safety requirements


Qualifications & Experience


  • Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in a construction or development-based project coordination role
  • Familiarity with residential or commercial construction processes and permitting
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Project) and project management software (e.g., Buildertrend or similar)
  • Self-motivated and able to work with limited oversight in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
  • Comfortable collaborating with a small, high-performing construction team
