Serving three primary markets – passenger vehicle, commercial truck, and off-highway equipment – Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to lead our Tech Center and plant’s quality systems and continuous improvement initiatives. In this role, you will ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards, are delivered defect-free, and exceed customer expectations. Based in Oakville, Ontario this position reports to Senior Manger Engineering and will have 3 direct reports.

What You’ll Do:

Customer & Quality Assurance

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality concerns, addressing inquiries and implementing corrective actions.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for non-conforming products.
  • Oversee Quality System (IATF 16949/QS9000), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation.

Process & System Management

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems to monitor and resolve product or process issues.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements, verifying preventive and corrective actions.
  • Manage process controls to minimize non-conformance and ensure product integrity.

Leadership & Continuous Improvement

  • Supervise and mentor the quality team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Lead and support improvement initiatives such as APQP, Q1, PSO, and other industry standards.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable quality and regulatory standards.

What You Bring:

Proven experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of quality standards, statistical process control (SPC), and quality tools (FMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Design).

Professional certification (ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Six Sigma) or progress toward an industry designation (e.g., Engineering, ASQC) is preferred.

Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.
