What You'll Be Doing

What You'll Be Doing
- Build modern web applications that are responsive, performant, and accessible
- Making key decisions on frontend architecture
- Writing integration and unit tests
- Learning the latest front-end technologies and standards to ensure we are always using the best tools and techniques possible
- Drive creation and maintenance of API contracts between front-end and backend systems
- Continuously improve our engineering processes, tools, and systems that allow us to scale the code base, productivity, and the team
- Minimum 6+ years of professional responsive front-end development experience
- Work in a collaborative environment and partner with other cross-disciplinary teams
- Expert in Javascript and front-end technologies, such as TypeScript, React, Next.js, HTML5, and CSS3
- Extensive experience with JavaScript testing libraries, including Jest and React Testing Library
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs with an eye for good contract design
- Strong working knowledge of Figma
- Heavy bias towards usability and user experience
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Experience at an early-stage or fast-growing startup
- Experience at a fintech
