About The Team You Are Joining

You will be joining the Architecture team, consisting of Domain, Solution, Integration and Enterprise Architects. Our team is dedicated to shaping the strategic technology direction of our organization, ensuring the alignment of IT solutions with business objectives. Reporting directly to the Head of Architecture and Solution Design you will drive innovation for IATA and the Aviation Industry at large.

The Architecture team leads efforts to design and implement enterprise-wide unified solutions, establish technology standards, and provide guidance on technology investments. As the Senior Solution Architect you will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing our technology roadmap to ensure that our IT initiatives deliver high quality Digital Products and Services for today and for the future.

What Your Day Would Be Like

Lead the design and development of end-to-end solution architectures, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.

Manage and coach a small team of Solution Architects.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.

Design Data and Integration architecture, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability between systems.

Conduct architectural reviews and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.

Develop and maintain architectural blueprints, roadmaps, and documentation.

Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable, adhering to best practices and industry standards.

Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance solution capabilities.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to architecture and development teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in solution architecture, integration architecture, and data architecture.

We would love to hear from you if

A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

Proven (8+ years) experience as a Senior Solution Architect, Data Architect, and Integration Architect.

Expertise in designing and implementing complex, enterprise-level systems.

Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.

Strong people management experience, including leading and mentoring technical teams, fostering collaboration, and driving performance improvements

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Expertise with cloud technologies and modern application architectures.

Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect.

Good knowledge of TOGAF architecture framework.
