We are currently seeking a qualified individual for the following opportunity in our downtown Toronto office.
CORPORATE, FINANCE ANALYST - TORONTO
INVESTMENTS / CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT / INVESTOR RELATIONS
As an integral member of the team, you will bring
- Experience or interest in financial statement analysis, financial modeling and valuation.
- Experience or interest in portfolio management, asset allocation, trading and risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Strong computer skills; including experience with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work within a team environment.
- Proven ability to organize and complete work within tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Conduct asset class and company specific research and modeling.
- Conduct trade analysis, structuring and execution for various asset classes.
- Assist in asset allocation and portfolio management decision-making.
- Prepare trading, settlement and portfolio-related reports for management.
- Prepare and communicate investment, corporate development, investor relations and board of directors’ presentations internally.
- Assist in the identification, tracking and diligence of potential target acquisitions.
- Assist in the execution of capital markets activity, including equity and debt financings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor/BBA/BCom or related degree with Finance or Economics concentration.
- Up to two years of previous work experience in finance, capital markets or banking is helpful.
- Pursuit of CFA designation is an asset.
