About The Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in building and shaping Superbar. We’re still pretty early, so you’ll get a chance to work on infrastructure, AI, ML, front-end, core features, and everything in between. Our product has a small front-end footprint, so most of the work is backend. You’ll work hand-in-hand with the co-founders to go from zero to one.

We’ll keep it short. We’re looking for great people rather than checking 100 boxes.

Salary: $150k - $200k
Equity: 0.25% to 1%
Location: Greater Toronto Area / Ontario (Remote)

What We’re Looking For
We’ll keep it short. We’re looking for great people rather than checking 100 boxes.
- 5+ years of experience building modern web applications
- Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Full-stack experience that includes Typescript, RESTful APIs, React
- A passion for building something incredible from the ground up
- A startup mindset (collaborate, move quickly, iterate)
- Worked on search, AI or ML products
- Experience with any of the following: NestJS, Pulumi, Terraform, LLama 2, OpenAI APIs, LangChain, LangGraph, e-commerce APIs (e.g. Shopify, Magento)
- Worked with microservices, Domain-driven design, Object Oriented Programming.
