The Role

As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for selling freight brokerage services to new and existing customers, with a focus on outside sales. This includes managing the full sales cycle — from prospecting and lead generation to negotiating, closing, and maintaining long-term relationships. Regular travel throughout your territory will be required.


This is a performance-driven role with significant income potential through a base salary from $65,000 to $70,000+ and an uncapped commission structure.


Each day will be different, yet a typical day will include:

  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Prospecting and developing leads through cold calling, referrals, and in-person outreach
  • Traveling within BC to meet with clients and close business
  • Negotiating competitive pricing and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful service execution
  • Managing sales activities and pipeline using CRM tools


What you need to succeed at RXO:

  • Proven experience in B2B outbound sales, with a focus on cold calling and business development
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and results-oriented
  • Willingness to travel for in-person meetings with clients
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software systems quickly
