Job Summary :
Reporting to the Grow Supervisor, the Grow Team Member will be responsible for performing tasks related to plant cultivation.
Shift timings : Monday- Thursday ( 7:00 am to 5:00 pm )
Pay : CAD $ 21 per hour

Job Summary :
Reporting to the Grow Supervisor, the Grow Team Member will be responsible for performing tasks related to plant cultivation.

Functions of the role include:
- Transplanting, harvesting, pruning, nutrient application, taking cuttings, integrated pest management, pesticide application, destruction, sanitation duties and trellising of cannabis
- Maintain healthy and thriving plants during all stages of cultivation (mother, clones, veg, flower, and cure)
- Mixing plant nutrients in accordance with Master Grower
- Ensure stock tanks and feed tanks are maintained
- Ensuring product is cured and packaged for shipment
- Maintain product quality standards during curing process
- Maintaining accurate inventory of clones
- Record accurate documentation of daily activities
- Adhere to all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) including but not limited to sanitation, cultivation, and processing
- Maintenance and monitoring of facility systems
- Responsible for accurately completing appropriate documentation and records
- Responsible for promptly reporting any deviations from SOPs
- Responsible for adhering to safe work procedures and reporting hazards
- Complete relevant forms, logs, and other documentation to meet the requirements of SOPs and Company Policies
- Participate in company training on policies, procedures, and work methods
- Assist in the mother rooms, trim, harvest, sanitation or other departments as needed
- Perform other duties as may be required by management
- Ability to sit, stand or kneel for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Basic math skills
- Ability to be flexible and work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Capable of multi-tasking with minimal supervision
- Great communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Safe and reliable transportation
- Great work ethic
- Basic computer skills are an asset
- Experience in a highly regulated environment (food industry, pharmaceuticals) would be considered an asset
- Demonstrates Company Values in relation to all aspects of the role (Creativity, Respect, Accountability, Fun, Teamwork)
- Participate in ongoing training as directed by Management
- Develop, maintain and comply with work instructions, standard operating procedures, training programs, and administrative responsibilities
- Each employee is responsible to report quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate corrective actions
- Each employee is responsible to participate in Occupational Health and Safety initiatives and report safety problems to personnel with authority to initiative corrective actions
