A career as an Underwriter, Commercial Portfolio Management, in the Commercial Banking team at National Bank is to act as a trusted advisor in the credit structuring and relationship management of a diversified portfolio of business clients. This job allows you to have a positive impact on our organization through your expertise in credit analysis, risk management, and client support.

Your Job

  • Support the development of financing strategies by conducting in-depth credit analysis and evaluating clients’ financial viability
  • Accompany the sales team in structuring lending solutions that align with clients’ business objectives and risk profiles
  • Ensure the consistency and quality of credit underwriting for new and existing business clients
  • Participate in risk management by monitoring portfolios and ensuring compliance with internal risk policies
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients by handling day-to-day requests and ensuring a seamless client experience
  • Collaborate closely with internal partners and specialists to deliver customized and effective solutions
