As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and responding to cybersecurity incidents that impact IT systems of VINCI Energies worldwide.

Fully integrated into the IT Cybersecurity division, you will join the CSIRT team in Paris for 10 months before joining the existing VESI team based in Canada for a 2-year V.I.E contract. Throughout your mission, and owing to your strategic positioning, you will actively participate in building VESI’s follow the sun strategy. The success of your mission will depend on your effectiveness to act as a VESI relay in the AMER region.

Your role is to:

  • Analyze security alerts from security monitoring systems including SIEM and EDR
  • Promptly respond to security incidents and carry out mitigation and forensic tasks
  • Act as a VESI Infrastructure team relay in the AMER region
  • Ensure IT Infrastructure continuity
  • Develop and fine-tune detections rules in the SIEM and other security consoles
  • Collect, analyze and correlate cyber threat information from multiple sources
  • Perform security audits
  • Communicate on strategic VESI projects to the business


Skills required:

  • Communication
  • Cybersecurity (SIEM, penetration testing)
  • System (Windows, Linux, Cloud, Containers) & Network (SD-WAN, DNS, Routing, Firewall, VPN)
  • Scripting (Python, PowerShell)


About you?

  • You are passionate about cybersecurity
  • You are autonomous, curious with an analytical mind that likes problem solving
  • You have good written and oral communication skills
  • You are fluent in both French and English (B2)
  • You have an engineering degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or Infrastructure security (min BAC+5)
  • You are between 18 and 28 years old and are French or have a nationality from the European Economic Area (EEA)
  • Ideally, you worked in a SOC/CSIRT/CERT environment at least 2 years
