Essential Responsibilities
- Assist Foreperson with daily tasks including safety toolbox meetings, equipment inspection, and road condition inspection reports
- Support Foreperson in the planning of work to meet contractual milestones
- Monitor the quality of work performed by the crew
- Operate equipment on work sites as needed
- Help ensure health, safety, and environment related concerns are addressed promptly
- Work outside in all weather conditions
- Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks
- Must possess a valid AZ or DZ driver’s license with air endorsement
- Must provide a copy of a 3-year driver’s abstract
- Previous experience operating a snowplow truck and/or wheel loader is a strong asset
- Local applicants will be given preference due to the location of the work
- Accommodations provided for out of town applicants
- As we respond to various weather patterns, some shift work, on-call, and night shift will be required
- Work schedules will consist of either 5 consecutive days followed by 2 days off or 6 consecutive days followed by 1 day off, with daily shifts lasting 8 to 12 hours (Shop specific)
