The Kawartha Veterinary Emergency Clinic (KVEC) is looking for part-time Veterinarians to join their growing practice. KVEC is an accredited full service 24 hour - 7 days a week small animal emergency veterinary clinic designed to serve Peterborough, Kawarthas, and Northumberland area veterinarians and their clients. The team of highly qualified veterinary professionals offers emergency care for your furry friends. Peterborough is a one-of-a-kind place, with access to many trails and parks right within the city, and easy access to cottage country and the lakes and beauty that it offers. Peterborough offers a balanced lifestyle that includes a growing community, a vibrant downtown, and a community calendar filled with great events.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

• Provincial DVM licensing
• Passion for what you do every day
• Enthusiasm, energy and a positive attitude are a must
• Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and delegate diagnostics appropriately to support staff
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous experience in veterinary emergency medicine is an asset
• Strong surgical skills, or a willingness to be mentored in surgical technique
